A suspected Maoist was arrested from Bihar's Gaya district and five detonators, two carbines and a country-made rifle were seized from him, police said on Friday.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided the house of Suresh Paswan, a hardcore member of CPI (Maoist), at Raghunath village last night and arrested him, Superintendent of Police R Mallar Vizzi said.
Five detonators, two carbines and a country-made rifle were seized during the raid, the SP said, adding the accused is being interrogated.
